Purple Sky Counseling is a prominent mental health and counseling center, operating as a group practice specializing in Trauma and Mental Health. We are a team of passionate therapists who emphasize ongoing education, fostering connection, and providing exceptional care to those we serve.

We are seeking a few Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) to join our Farmington/Heber/Murray team to enhance the lives of our clients. We are currently looking for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) that have experience and expertise in the Mental Health Field and wants to work with Children, Teens and Adults. 

Joining our team you will work with leading experts in the field of trauma and EMDR. We have an incredible team of therapists and providers that work collaboratively and consistently with each other. Purple Sky values clinicians and seeks to support them so they can be amazing therapists.

Responsibilities:

Murray Therapists and Medication Management Team

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Diagnose and treat mental health disorders, including prescribing and managing medications.

  • Collaborate closely with therapists to ensure a seamless, integrated approach to client care.

  • Participate in case consultations and team meetings to develop coordinated strategies for treatment.

  • Educate clients on their conditions, treatment options, and medication management.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with professional and ethical standards.

  • Stay current on best practices in psychiatric care and medication management.

Preferred Skills:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in psychiatric care (preferred).

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Commitment to providing culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care.

  • Enthusiasm for working in a team-based environment with therapists and other professionals.

Education/Experience:

  • Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.

  • Experience working with Trauma, Attachment Issues, Anxiety, Depression, Autism and/or ADHD.

  • Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Utah.

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatric care.

  • Prescriptive authority and DEA certification.

Salary:

  • Competitive salary based on licensure level and extensive experience.

  • Clinical supervision is available if needed.
