Course description: This course meets all EMDR International Association requirements for an EMDR Basic Training Course. Integrating EMDR into your Clinical Practice teaches mental health clinicians the foundations of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy through lectures, videos, demonstrations, and practice sessions between participants. At the completion of this course, participants will have applied the Adaptive Information Processing theoretical approach to psychotherapy, the eight phases of EMDR therapy, and how to utilize EMDR with a variety of clinical populations. Special instruction is given on working with clients from a beliefs-focused approach and varying applications of bilateral stimulation depending on the needs of each particular client.
